Barney Eckert

Barney James Eckert, 75, of Crowley, passed away Friday, May 15, 2020 in White Settlement. He was born October 21, 1944 in Junction to Willie Augusta and Helen Louise (Allbright) Reynolds. Barney married Sherri Jackson on December 21, 2006 in Burleson. He was fire hall tech in the U.S. Navy. Barney came to Crowley in 1984 from Fort Worth. He loved fishing, going to the casino, playing cards and playing dominoes. Barney loved spending time with the grand-kids.

Barney is survived by his wife, Sherri Eckert of Crowley; sister, Linda Belch and husband Ed of South Carolina; daughters, Keliann Eckert of Connecticut and Amie Eckert of Crowley; step-sons, Stephen Whitehead of Crowley, Chris Whitehead, Colorado, David Jackson of Crowley; 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandson on the way.

Barney is preceded in death by his parents, sister Babara Steihl and son Barry Eckert.
