Barry Davis

Barry Lynn Davis, 75, of Rio Vista passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2009 in Fort Worth. He was born to the late, Arthur and Geraldine Weaver Davis on November 9, 1933 in Norwich, New York. Barry re-married Judy Ann Davis on November 11, 1999 in Cleburne. He retired in the late 1980's as a truck driver with Keene Distributors, which is now Tree of Life. Barry was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed camping and "picking on" his kids and grandkids. It has been said that he could make a room full of people laugh while keeping a straight face. His sense of humor will be greatly missed by all those that knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Peggy.

Survivors include his wife, Judy of Rio Vista; sons, Steve Davis of Blum, James Davis and wife, Diane of South Carolina, Mark Davis of Florida; daughter, Gail Wangler and husband, Charles of Blum; sister, Jean Birch of Mesa, Arizona; step sons, Mike Kerns and wife, Jeanie of Cleburne, Douglas Kerns of Cleburne, Nic Rutowski of Rio Vista; 19 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
