Funeral services for B.B. Stevens, 78, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:30 A.M. Monday, December 3, 2012 in the Westhill Church of Christ. Burial will follow in the Prices Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 3:00-5:00 P.M. Sunday, December 2, 2012.

Mr. Stevens passed away in Fort Worth on Thursday, November 29, 2012 surrounded by loved ones. He was born January 14, 1934 in Mineral Wells. B.B. married the love of his life, Gerald Dean "Jerry" Pierce on December 26, 1952 in Fort Worth. B.B. began ministering at the age of 15 and continued his ministry throughout his lifetime, most recently serving as minister of the Rio Vista Church of Christ where he was a member as well. He was known for his musical talents and baritone voice giving depth to the Gospelaires for over three decades. He owned and operated Trophies by BB in Cleburne and was a member of various civic clubs and organizations. It has been said that B.B. was larger than life, a legendary man with great integrity and character who always had a corny joke and smile on his face. B.B. was an inspiration to those who knew and loved him. He will be missed greatly. He was preceded in death by his mother, Esther Bloodworth Stevens; and siblings, Thomas Perry Stevens and Velta Lee Spruce.
Survivors include his bride of 60 years, Gerald Dean "Jerry" Stevens; daughter, Stevie Stevens; son, Brad Stevens and his wife, Terri; grandchildren, Heather Butler and her husband, Josh, Joshua Stevens and Caleb Stevens; great grandchildren, Domanique, Jaxon, Kayden and Madelynn; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
