B.E. Thompson

Service for B.E. Thompson, 98, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, December 28, 2017 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Mr. Kevin Rhoades will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Barrett Thompson, Johnny Walker, Craig Moroney, Kevin Crecelius, Paul Morrow and Shane Gerace. Visitation will be prior to service on Thursday, from 9:00 – 11:00 A.M.

B.E. passed away at home Sunday December 24, 2017. He was born April 7, 1919 in Eulogy, Texas, son of Alfred and Frankie (Lindsey) Thompson. He was a member of Granbury Street Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife Lois, married 80 years; sister, Louise Lillard of Cleburne; brother-in-law Tommie Walker of Cleburne; four children, Joy Crecelius of Cleburne, Billy Thompson of Watauga, James Thompson of Houston, and Ruth Ann Fagan of Hico. He was blessed with 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, Lucille Oliver of Cleburne, Fayrene Hudson of Waxachie, Freda Allen of Oklahoma and Mary Owens of California; one great grandson, Chase Morrow of Glen Rose; and one granddaughter, Stephanie Bass of Glen Rose
