Beatrice Basham

Graveside services for Beatrice Basham, 92, of Grandview, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, October 7, 2010 in the Grandview Cemetery. Pastor Russell Allen will officiate.

Mrs. Basham passed away Monday, October 4, 2010 in Grandview. She was born July 20, 1918 in Alvarado to William Henry and Cora Jane Roberts Matthews. She married Ernest Virgil Basham on March 4, 1936 in Cleburne.

Beatrice was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Grandview.

Beatrice Basham is survived by her son, Ernest Basham and wife, Mary; grandchildren, Bret Basham and Bart Basham and wife, Gina, all of Grandview; great-grandchildren, Eli Basham of Arlington, Evan Basham of Waco, Kalani and Hannah Basham, both of Grandview; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Virgil Basham, on June 28, 1996; her parents and 10 brothers and sisters.
