Beatrice Lain

Services for Beatrice Eudell Carlock Lain, 93, of Glen Rose, will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 18, 2009 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will be in Baker-Lain Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 p.m.

Eudell Lain passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2009 in Glen Rose. She was born December 10, 1915 in Johnson County, TX to William Ervin and Mary Elizabeth Smith Carlock. She married Craven Mills Lain.
Mrs. Lain was a homemaker and a member of New Hope Baptist Church.

Eudell Lain is survived by her sons, Joe Lain and wife, Daphne of Glen Rose and George Lain and wife, Charlene of Kopperl; daughters, Joyce McCurdy of Burleson and Peggy Bryant and husband, Doyle of Burleson; ten grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; nineteen great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Craven Lain on November 8, 1994 and eleven brothers and sisters.
