Service for Beatrice “Bea” Looper, 83, of Cleburne will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2015 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Bob Messer will officiate. Burial will be in Cleburne Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Marc Lopez, Terry Johnson, Ryan Looper, Bill Gillispie, Carey Crane and Juan Montoya. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Holland and Donovan Robles. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Tuesday, at the funeral home.
Beatrice “Bea” Looper passed away Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015 in Cleburne. She was born May 5, 1932 in Cleburne to Ruben and Jewell Homes Rodgers. She married Thomas P. Looper on July 30, 1949 in Weatherford and he preceded her in death on Dec. 22, 1983.
Mrs. Looper was an insurance rating agent. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great and great-great grandmother, sister, and friend to many. Bea loved playing dominoes and cards. She was a member of the Grandview Order of the Eastern Star and Watts Chapel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her sons, George Looper and wife Yvonne and Jim Looper and wife Silvia, all of Cleburne; grandchildren, Tiffany Crane, Donovan Robles, Didi Wagner, Wendy Lutrell, Ryan Looper, Marc Lopez, Jessica Delzell and Tori Duckett; 16 great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; sister, Janice Holland and husband Johnny of Taft; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, John Looper; and companion, John McComas.
