Belinda Gilley

Services for Belinda Nell Turner Gilley, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Monday March 21, 2022 at Graceview Baptist Church in Burleson, Tx. Pastor Aaron Scarbrough will officiate. Burial will follow at Grange Hall Cemetery, Rio Vista, Tx. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M., Sunday, March20, 2022 at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Tad Gilley, Randy Anderson, Mark Martin, Tyler Anderson, Jake Anderson, and Tate Gilley. Honorary pallbearers will be Jesse Turner, Jody Turner, Jay Turner, Bill Stanford, Megan Martin, Maycie Anderson, Shelby Martin, Talyn Gilley and McKoy Anderson.

Belinda Nell Turner, adored daughter, sister, friend, wife, mother, and Nana was called home on March 17th, at the age of 69. She left this world in peace and joy surrounded by her loving family at her home in Cleburne, Tx. She was born, the sixth child of ten on November 8, 1952, in Cleburne, Tx to Olin Oscar and Dorothy Nell (Sims) Turner. One of Belinda’s greatest accomplishments was being happily married to the love of her life, William (Bill) Henry Gilley for 39 years until his passing. They were united in marriage on November 26, 1971 in Burleson where she began fulfilling her dreams of being a homemaker, mother, wife, and later becoming a distributor for American Greetings making many lifelong friends. Belinda had a deep passion for quilting and crocheting personal gifts for her family. Some of Belinda’s greatest joys included spending time with her family, cooking, sewing, antiquing, gardening, traveling with her many siblings and dancing with her husband. Belinda was a woman of Christian faith with a love for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was a member of Graceview Baptist Church in Burleson.

Belinda is survived by her daughters, Toby Martin and husband Mark of Grandview, Tabby Anderson and husband, Randy of Cleburne, and son Tad Gilley and wife, Donya of Cleburne; grandchildren Tyler Anderson and wife Kennedy of Grandview, Jake Anderson and wife Rylie of Rio Vista, Megan and Shelby Martin of Grandview, Maycie Anderson, Tate and Talyn Gilley, and Raelei Curtis of Cleburne; great grandchildren McKoy and Canton Anderson of Grandview; brothers Jesse Turner and wife Carolyn of Blum, Jay Turner and wife Julie of Granbury, Jody Turner of Linden; Sisters, Terry Casillas of Joshua, Susie Doty and husband Michael of Cleburne, and Jana Leck and husband Stephen of Burleson.; Sisters in law, Ginger Turner of Blum, Janna Turner of Blum, Diana Terry and husband, Dennis of Burleson, Melissa Wilson and husband Richard of Itasca, and Louise Gilley of Parker.

She is preceded in death by her husband, William Gilley; Parents Dude and Dorothy Turner; brothers Jeff Turner, Jerry “Boggs” Turner, and Jerel Turner; brother-in-law, Mike Gilley; Sister-in-law, Becky Turner; nephews Jacob Turner, and Bryant Wilson.
