Belinda Martinez

Belinda Martinez, 55, of Godley, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2020 in Fort Worth surrounded by her family, after a 5 year long battle with cancer.

She was born September 29, 1965 in New Braunfels to Ignacio Sr. and Victoria (Rodriguez) Guzman.

She was a woman of faith and loved her church. She was happy all the time and a joy. She loved treating her kids and grandchildren to donuts. Belinda loved her church family and friends.

Belinda is survived by her husband, Omar Martinez; daughters, Rita Hernandez and husband Jonathan, Kelly Espinoza and husband Cesar; grandchildren, Lanae Mireles, Atlantis Mireles, Aubrynn Salinas, R.J. Salinas, Benjamin Hernandez, Cain Espinoza, Tre Espironza and Luna J. Espinoza; sisters, Irene Guzman, Donna Noriega, Cynthia Ramirez and numerous other nieces, nephews and extended family and loving friends.

Belinda is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Ignacio Guzman Jr. and sister, Esmeralda Guzman.

A memorial service for Belinda Martinez will be held at noon, Saturday, October 10, 2020 in the Iglesia La Fuente at 1315 Grandview Highway in Cleburne.
