Service for Benny Gene Goodman, 86, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:30 A.M., Friday, August 3, 2018 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Brian Jackson will officiate. Burial will be in Blanton Cemetery in Hill County. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Thursday, at the funeral home.
Benny Gene Goodman passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2018 in Cleburne. He was born April 6, 1932 in Hillsboro to Leslie and Minnie Pearl Sheffield Goodman. He married Billie Ann Williford on June 16, 1952 in Hillsboro.
Mr. Goodman was a heavy equipment operator at Waco Sand and Gravel until retiring.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Billie Ann Goodman of Cleburne; daughters, Kathy Hays of Bridgeport, Jean Watson of Alvarado, Rebecca Mills of Cleburne and Lou Ella Williams of Corsicana; son, Jerry Goodman of Jonesboro; brothers, Ernest Goodman, Bobby Goodman, James Goodman and Ronny Goodman; sisters, Irene Greenhill and Linda Langdale; 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; two grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
