Graveside service for Benny Earl Johnson, 84, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, December 11, 2019 in Greenacres Memorial Park in Cleburne. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at the funeral home.

Benny Earl Johnson passed away Sunday, December 8, 2019 in Cleburne. He was born November 3, 1935 in Johnson County to James Edward and Mary Ellen (Perry) Johnson. He married Zilpha Jane “Janey” Hazlett on July 12, 1963 in Cleburne, Texas. Benny worked for Johnson County and was a member of the Army National Guard.

Benny loved hunting, fishing, rodeo and cattle auctions. He loved telling stories, loved music and especially loved his family.

Benny is survived by his wife, Janey Johnson; son, Ben Johnson and wife Katrine; 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Benny is preceded in death by his parents and son Bradley Earl Johnson.
