Bernarda Lopez

Service for Bernarda Lopez, 75, of Burleson, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Friday, April 25, 2014 in St. Joseph Catholic Church. Father Sergio Rizo will officiate. Burial will be in Rio Vista Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ruben Cruz, Bryan Reyna, Frank Rodriguez, Blas Villanueva, Chris Bernal, and Michael Lopez. Rosary will be conducted at 7:00 P.M., Thursday, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Lopez passed away April 21, 2014 in Ft. Worth. She was born October 5, 1938 in Brownsville to Ysidro and Anita Garza Reyna. She married Emilio Lopez on August 25, 1954 in Corpus Christi.

Mrs. Lopez worked at Burleson ISD until her retirement. She was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Emilio Lopez of Burleson; five sons, Emilio Lopez, Jr. and wife Anna, Samuel Lopez, Daniel Lopez, Felix Lopez, and Frank Lopez and wife Rebehka; daughters, Sylvia Espinoza and husband Jesus, and Christine Garcia and husband Octavio; 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; three brothers, Lupe Reyna and wife Sharon, Refugio Reyna, and Ysidro Reyna, Jr.; and three sisters, Rosario Cruz and husband Felipe, Vickie Villanueva and husband David, and Antonia Terronez and husband Joe. She was preceded in death by her parents, and three brothers and sisters.
