Bernice Thompson

Graveside services for Bernice Thompson, 80, of Cleburne will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 22, 2007 in the Greenlawn Cemetery. Rev. Pauline Lauderdale will officiate.
Bernice Thompson passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2007 in Cleburne. She was born July 22, 1927 in Hill County, TX to Newton and Rosie Bell Whitfield Hafford. She married Charlie Lee Thompson, who preceded her in death in 1967. She was a long timemember of Gospel Lighthouse Church of God in Christ in Cleburne.
Mrs. Thompson is survived by her son, Willie Mitchell Hafford (Deyedrua) of Cleburne; daughter, Vera Lee Thompson of Cleburne; three grandchildren, Michael Lamont Horne (Nikita), Tephoney Nicole Thompson and Melanie Joyce Thompson and three great-grandchildren, Joe Wayne Johnson, Michael Allen Horne and Jaden Markell Thompson. She is is also survived by two sisters, Georgia Mae Foster of Bakerfield, CA and Dimple Pauline Johnson of Fort Worth, TX and a multitude of nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by a number of brothers and sisters.
