Bertha Cathrine Brown, 90, of Cleburne, passed Monday, July 4, 2005 in Cleburne. She was born September 6, 1914 in Vaga, Texas, to John Franklin and Hattie Asbren Crider Wafford. She married Amos Benjamin Brown on December 24, 1928 in Amarillo, Texas.
Mrs. Brown is survived by her two daughters, Velma Strickland and husband F.N. of Cleburne and Hattie Mae Abramowitz and husband Danny of Portland, OR; one son, James Benjamin Brown and wife Marlene of Washington. 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and 55 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Amos Brown; and son William Joseph Brown.
