Bessie Clendennen

Hillsboro, Graveside services for Bessie Lee Jones Cledennen, 60, of Hillsboro, formerly of Cleburne, will be held at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, March 9, 2005 at Rose Hill Cemetery, with Rev. Sam Houston officiating.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM, Tuesday at Cleburne's Crosier-Pearson-Mayfield Funeral Home.

Bessie Lee Clendennen, a cashier, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2005 in a Hillsboro Hospital. She was born June 29, 1944, in Dallas, Texas, the daughter of James C. King and Bennie Lee Tompkins King. She married Al Clendennen, November 4, 1994. He preceded her in death May 8, 2003.

Mrs. Clendennen is survived by sons, Ronnie Jones, of Freemont, Ohio and Donald Jones, of Fort Worth; daughter, Sherri Williams, of Hillsboro;step-sons, Jack Clendennen and Ivey Clendennen; step-daughter, Dorothy Wiese, all of Fort Worth, step-daughter, Linda Anderson, of Watauga; brother, James King, of Ellis County, Texas; best-friend, Shirley Vaughan, of Cleburne; eighteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted for funeral expense assistance.
