Bettie Lewis

Graveside services for Bettie Lewis, 66, of Cleburne will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 19, 2007 in the Rosehill Cemetery. Rev. Eddy Freeman will officiate.

Bettie Lewis passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2007 in Ft. Worth. She was born February 7, 1941 in Cleburne, TX to Thomas and Dorothy Lair Rice. She formerly worked as a teacher's aid for Special Education at Cleburne Intermediate School.
Mrs. Lewis enjoyed sewing and gardening. She was a member of Henderson Street Baptist Church.

Minnie Lewis is survived by her sons, Tommy Vaughan and wife Tenia of Cleburne and Jerry Craighead and wife Lucy of Springtown; daughter, Kessaundra Garten of Cleburne; sisters, Mary Sue Lyles and husband Bill of Cleburne and Dorine Hahn of Cleburne; 6 grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Dorothy Rice and two sons, Lonnie and Donnie.
