Services for Betty Ann Brown, of Godley, Texas, will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, February 25, 2021, at First Baptist Church of Godley. Visitation will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 25, prior to the service at FBC Godley. Burial at Everman Cemetery.
Betty Ann Brown passed away, Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2021, in Ft. Worth. She was born Feb. 27, 1923, in Breckenridge, Texas, to J.A. and Neva (Earp) Seward.
Betty is survived by her daugthers: Beverly Davis of Godley, Gwenda and son-in-law Roy Carrell of Godley, Sharon Lawler of Glen Rose, and son-in-law Danny Threadgill of Cleburne, and her grandchildren: Ricky, Brandon, Shelley, Karissa, Traci, Kendall, Kelsi, Dwayne and Amber. She has numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and other extended family.
During WWII, Betty installed the control panels in B52 Bombers at CONVAIR. She worked hard all her life running a dairy and working as a beautician at Godley Beauty Shop. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church Godley, where she served as WMU leader and church clerk for many years. She was dedicated to her family and loved people well.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Woodland Brown, daughter Koleen Threadgill, and son Ronald Brown.
