Betty Hale

Services for Betty Jo Hale, 75, of Whitney, will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 30, 2009 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Dr. Allan Lane will officiate. Burial will be in Blum Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Barry Simms, Darren Roye, Greg Roye, Billy Joe Finch, Garland Woolsey and Tom Bledsoe. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday.
Betty Jo Hale passed away Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2009 in Waco. She was born Feb. 8, 1934 in Blum to William Edgar and Nora Hester Duncan Martin.
Mrs. Hale was a former line supervisor for a clothing manufacturing company.
She is survived by a daughter, Frances Young and husband, Gary of Granbury; son, James Hale and wife, Bridgette of Fountain, Co.; grandchildren, Kimberly Grubbs, Rachel Daniel and Mitchel Hale; sister, Mary Lou Rogers of Rio Vista; brothers, Nelson "Nip" Martin of Blum, Bobby Martin of Cameron, Jackie Friemuth of Tennessee and a host of nieces and nephews.
