Betty Huston

Graveside service for Betty Jean Huston, 93, of Rio Vista, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Friday, March 26, 2021 in Rio Vista Cemetery. Visitation 6-8:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at the funeral home. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenneth Gallagher, Gene Gallagher, Robby White, Jim Huston, Tom Lovelace ,Wesley Riffenburg, Robert Hensley and Todd Winans.

Betty passed away on Friday, March 19, 2021 surrounded by her loved ones and peacefully at home. She was born February 1, 1928 in Cleburne, Texas to Horace H. Lee, Sr. and Mabel (Burt) Lee. Betty married A.C. Huston on September 20, 1946 in Stephenville, Texas. She retired from Textile Industries where she was a quality control inspector. Betty loved to cook, garden, and spend time spoiling her grandchildren.

Betty is survived by her daughter Pam Gallagher, and husband Bob of Rio Vista; grandson, Blaine Huston of Ranger; granddaughter Jennifer Buchanan and husband Jeffrey of Orlando, Florida; sisters, Barbara Pitts of Conroe, Judy Moss of Ft. Worth; brother, James Lee and wife Mildred of Cleburne, Kenneth Lee and wife Glenda of Bay City, Michigan; great grandchildren Payton of Orlando, Florida and Knox of Joshua, Texas and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Mabel Lee; husband, A.C. Huston; son, Larry Huston; brother Horace H. (Beau) Lee, Jr. and sister, Sharon White.
