Betty Jones

Graveside services for Betty Jean Jones, 82, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday in Rosehill Cemetery. Brother Eddy Carrell will officiate.
Betty Jean Jones passed away Thursday, December 11, 2008 in Cleburne. She was born July 27, 1926 in Cleburne to Albert and Jewel Smith Higgins. She married Roy Jones on July 14, 1955 in Weatherford.
Mrs. Jones was a clerk for the Social Security Administration.
Betty Jean Jones is survived by her daughters, Teresa Morton of Cleburne and Susan Robinson of Barry; five grandchildren, Lori Tarpley, Sunshine Clark, Justin Clark, Josh Morton and Abby Carrell; four great-grandchildren, Megan Tarpley, Kalee Tarpley, Megan McCrea and Lindsey McCrea; brother, Hugh Higgins of Cleburne; sisters, Dorothy Fulfer of Burleson and Marie Doerr of Virginia and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Jones in 1991; parents, Albert and Jewel Higgins and grandson Mitchell Dwayne Clark.
