Betty Lamon

Service for Betty Lamon, 76, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, May 20, 2015 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chris Jordon, Marshall Jones, Billy Lamon, Devin Mitchell, Scott Horton, and Chad Osier.
Visitation will be from 7-9:00 P.M., Tuesday, at the funeral home.
Betty Lamon passed away Sunday, May 17, 2015 in Keene. She was born March 8, 1939 in Whitney to Henry and Annie Stewart Ward.
Mrs. Lamon worked as a packing inspector before retirement and was of the Baptist faith. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her son, Gary Lamon; daughter, Sharon Jones, both of Cleburne; grandchildren, Michael, Billy, Chris, Brandy, Heather, Marshall, Courtney, Sarah; 14 great grandchildren; sister, Louise Crow of Woodbury; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Billy Lamon; daughter, Paula Jordon; and several siblings.
