Graveside services will be held at 3:00 pm at Lubbock City Cemetery for Betty McDonald, 68, of Cleburne.

Mrs. McDonald passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 in Cleburne. She was born to the late, Elmo and Edith Russell Kitchel on November 8, 1941 in Ponca City, Oklahoma. Betty worked as a caretaker for many years, taking care of the elderly. She was an endowed sister with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Cleburne. Betty was known as a giving lady, often putting others before her own needs. It has been said that one could not ask for a better friend. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Sidney McDonald in 1975.
Survivors include her family at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and Cleburne Rehab Center.
