Betty Moore

Services for Betty Ann Matthews Moore, 72, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 19, 2011 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Pastor Kevin Bentley will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 p.m.


Betty Ann Moore passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2011 in Fort Worth. She was born February 18, 1939 in Cleburne to Cornell and Mattie Bell Holtsman Matthews. She married Jesse Moore on December 17, 1961 in Cleburne.

Mrs. Moore was a homemaker and a member of Lone Willow Baptist Church. She was an avid bowler in her younger days. She was a great wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all.

Betty Ann Moore is survived by husband, Jesse Moore of Cleburne; son, Kelly W. Moore of Cleburne; two grandchildren, John David Moore and Cassie Moore both of Cleburne; soon-to-be, two great-grandchildren; brother, Tony Matthews and wife, Linda of Meridian; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
