Betty Peacock

Graveside service for Betty R. Fountain Peacock, 92, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 9:00 A.M., Thursday, April 21, 2022, in Marystown Cemetery.

Betty was born December 16, 1929, in Gordo, Alabama to Edward and Bessie Carver Fountain. She married Loyd Guy Peacock on March 22, 1979, in Cleburne. Betty was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church. She was a production worker for Westinghouse with over 25 years of service.

Betty is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Taylor, Debbie Lancaster and spouse, Tim all from Gordo, Alabama; stepsons, Larry Peacock and spouse, Lisa of Joshua, Michael Peacock and spouse, Elizabeth of Allen, and Brian Peacock and spouse, Jennifer of Richardson; grandchildren, Tony Shirley and spouse, Lisa, SaDonna Heathman and spouse, Lee, Eric Fair and spouse, Amber, Tracy Henderson and spouse, Jody, Casey Peacock, Destin Lancaster, Nathaniel Peacock and Lillian Peacock; 13 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband who passed on March 20, 2020, and two brothers, Coleman Fountain and Reedus Fountain.
