Betty Porter

Betty Louise Porter, age 68, died in Cleburne, Texas on Monday, August 1, 2016. She recently contracted brain cancer and finished her last days at the Huguley Hospice House in Burleson Texas.

Betty was born on August 12, 1947 Louisville, Kentucky to Dorothy L. Raymer and Elzie D. Raymer. She graduated from Durrett H.S. in Louisville, KY and then went on to finish Cosmetology School also in Louisville, KY. She married Donald W. Porter in Lawton, OK. Over her adult life she lived in Oklahoma, Kentucky, Indiana, and Texas. She enjoyed reading books, playing bingo, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by three daughters: Kellie Brown (Brian Brown), Indianapolis, IN; Shellie Porter (Kajron Jones), Fort Worth, TX and Dana Brackett (Randy Brackett), Marlow, OK. She is also survived by three siblings: Bonnie Hicks, Louisville, KY; Rosie Goodgine, Louisville, KY and Bobbie Raymer (Vickie), Louisville, KY. She has three grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

There will be a memorial service at Central Baptist Church, 274970 Broncho Road, Marlow, OK 73055 at a later date.
