Betty Raifsnider

Graveside service for Betty Jane Raifsnider, 78, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, June 23, 2011 in the Godley Cemetery. The Reverend Charles E. Payne and the Reverend Wayne McCoy will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Raifsnider passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2011 in Cleburne. She was born Dec. 16, 1932 in Gathersburg, MD to Brown and Bertie Reynolds Turner. She married Albert Raifsnider on Feb. 19, 1954 in Cleburne.

Mrs. Raifsnider and her husband owned and operated a dairy farm for many years. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Albert Raifsnider of Godley; daughters, Wendy Raifsnider of Cleburne, Sherry Eldridge and husband Carney and Paula Raifsnider, all of Godley, Sally Smith and husband Terry of Kopperl and Mary Raifsnider of Cleburne; sons, Benjamin Raifsnider of Cleburne, Rusty Raifsnider and Andrew Raifsnider and wife Shelly, all of Godley; 10 grandchildren; three great grandsons and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; eight siblings; one son, Stephen Raifsnider and one grandson, Andrew Dylan Raifsnider.
