Service for Betty F. Roberts, 76, of Cleburne will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Friday, May 9, 2014 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Pastor Larry Moore will officiate. Pallbearers will be Stephen Sullivan, Eric Sullivan, Bryan Sullivan, Bill Swanson, Vincent Franklin and Dale Haney. A private family burial will be in Keene Memorial Park.

Betty F. Roberts passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2014 in Ft. Worth. She was born October 18, 1937 in Canyon, Texas to Floyd and Lorena Taylor Fortner. She married H. Clinton Roberts Jr. on October 20, 1957 in Amarillo.

Mrs. Roberts worked as a school librarian before retiring. She was an active member of the Cleburne Quilters Guild and the Keene Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Clinton Roberts of Cleburne; daughters, Karen Griswell and husband Paul of Cleburne and Kaye Rogers and husband Todd of Trophy Club; son, Kevin Roberts of Denver, Colorado; six grandchildren, Stephen, Eric, Bryan, Josh, Christy, and Tenli; six great grandchildren; and a brother, Elliott Fortner and wife Jeanette of Loveland, Colorado. She was also preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Keith Roberts in 1981.
