Betty Sparks

Services for Betty L. Sparks, 83, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, September 15, 2021, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Reverend John Warren and Superintendent Robert Brown will officiate. Burial to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Sparks passed away Friday, September 10, 2021, in Cleburne. She was born May 30, 1938, in Venus to Sam and Pairalee (Boozer) Gray. She married Malcolm Sparks on November 3, 1983, in Cleburne. Betty was a CNA in the Nursing Profession with 15 years of service. She was of the Christian faith and attended United Pentecostal Church.

Mrs. Sparks is survived by her children, Mavis Fuller and husband, James of Cleburne, Timothy Bailey and wife, Karen of Cleburne, Pervis Bailey and wife, Jill of Cleburne, and Louvalla Bailey of Cleburne; 13 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; siblings, Edna Bailey of Fort Worth, Patricia Bailey of Cleburne, and Cornell Bailey of Cleburne; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm Sparks; daughter, Debra Bailey who passed in 2020; and brothers, Harold Bailey and Vernon Bailey.
