Service for Betty Jo Workman, 89, of Ft. Worth, TX will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Monday, April 27, 2015, at the Grace Tabernacle Church of the Nazarene in Ft. Worth, TX. Pastor William “Bill” Bowers will officiate.
Burial will be in Laurel Land Memorial Park in Ft. Worth, TX.
Pallbearers will be Thomas Quance, Larry Sanders, Monroe Flippin, and Weston Burris. Visitation will be from 3-5:00 P.M., Sunday, at the funeral home.
Betty Jo Workman, 89, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2015 in Cleburne. She was born December 30, 1925 in Ft. Worth to Homer Lester Sr. and Ruby Estelle Rupard Rhoten. She married Nathan Treat Workman in 1977 in West.
Mrs. Workman was a receptionist for 10 years at Woodie Woods Plumbing. She enjoyed going to Canton, yard sales, and loved eating ice cream. She was of the Baptist faith. Betty will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her son, Larry Sanders and wife Dale of Grandview, TX; daughter, Judy Quance and husband Thomas of Hertford, NC; grandchildren, Jennifer Giltmier and husband Matt of Pawleys Island, SC, Nikki Smith and husband Shawn of Jacksonville, FL, Monica Flippin and husband Monroe of Cleburne, TX, Marijke Leibel and husband Steve of Bismarck, ND, and Macileigh Burris and husband Weston of Port Lavaca, TX; 12 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother, Homer Rhoten, Jr.
