Beverley Davis

Graveside service for Beverley Brown Davis, 78, of Godley, will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, November 20, 2023 in Everman Cemetery with Reverend T.J. Joyner officiating.

Beverley passed away Friday, November 17, 2023 in Godley. She was born January 20, 1945 in Oakland, California to Woodland Samuel and Betty Ann (Seward) Brown. Beverley was a member of First Baptist Church in Godley. She worked as a quality control technician, retiring from Lockheed Martin and Motorola. Beverley was a private lady with a feisty spirit that loved animals and often took in strays. She had an independent streak and strong will and was known for her cooking. Beverley will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

She is survived by her sons, Ricky Davis and Brandon Davis; six grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; sister, Gwenda Carrell and Roy, and Sharon Lawler; brother-in-law, Danny Threadgill; many nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Beverley was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Koleen Threadgill; and brother, Ronald Brown.
