Beverly Ann Womack quietly passed from this earthly life on December 10, 2021, at her
home in Cleburne, Texas. She was 77 years old.
Born in Houston, Texas, to George W. Carroll and Mildred Porter, she spent her
formative years there and married Stephen Womack in 1959. They raised two sons,
James and Robert, and one daughter Denise.
Beverly was known for her outgoing and uninhibited nature. She never hesitated to
strike up a conversation with anyone she met, and share an interesting story. Those
that knew her, knew that she was always willing to give of her time and help her friends
and family in any way she could.
She enjoyed many years of varied work experiences, but spent the largest part of those
years with Volkswagen USA as a Manufacturing Supervisor. It was a fitting career
choice, as Beverly had both the strong personality that it takes to lead, and a great
interest in almost anything you could put on the road; whether it be car, truck, or
motorcycle.
Beverly was preceded in death by her husband Michael Lyons, her son Robert
Womack, and her brother Douglas Carroll.
She is survived by her children James Womack of Houston: her daughter Denise
(Bobby) Turner of Granbury and stepdaughter Tammy Kellam of Albuquerque, NM.
Other surviving family include her brother, George (Daisy) Carroll of Kingsport, TN, her
sister Deana (Jorge) Gutierrez of Fort Worth; her grandchildren Joshua, Daniel, Caleb,
and Bridget Womack; Brandy (Joe) Gil, and Casey Turner (Leon Cantu); Robert
Womack Jr. and Courtnee Womack; Sarah Kellam and 9 great grandchildren.
Services to be announced at a later date.
