Service for Bill Edmonds, 82, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Friday, June 10, 2011 in the Granbury Street Church of Christ. Mr. Kern Porter will officiate. Pallbearers will be Mike Lehrmann, Steve Lehrmann, Wayne Birchfield, Colby Underwood, Eddie Underwood and Brandon Lehrmann. Honorary pallbearers will be Gene Underwood and Stetson Johnson. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Thursday, at the funeral home.

Mr. Edmonds passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2011 in Cleburne. He was born April 7, 1929 in Oglesby to Newton Harlond and Clara Elsie Hoppe Edmonds. He married Vern Estelle Boy on September 6, 1969 in Cleburne.

Mr. Edmonds served in the U.S. Navy and owned and operated a paint and body shop. He was a member of Granbury Street Church of Christ.

Survivors include three sons, Billy Donald Edmonds Jr. "Donny" and wife Lana, David Edmonds and Michael Franklin, Brian Edmonds and wife Becky, all of Cleburne; daughter, Martha Johnson and Mike Lain of Cleburne; eight grandchildren, Laci, Kasi, Megan, Jeorjia, Stetson, Harley, Lynda-Kay and Kyle; two great grandchildren, Armani and Carmelo and sister, Betty Lehrmann of Cleburne. He was preceded in death by one brother, Jim Edmonds and wife, Vern Edmonds on April 18, 2006.
