Graveside service with military honors for Bill Linthicum, 68, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, June 9, 2012 in Rio Vista Cemetery. The Reverend Lelton James will officiate. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Friday, at the funeral home.
Mr. Linthicum passed away Thursday, June 7, 2012 in Cleburne. He was born March 8, 1944 in Cleburne to Jack and Inez White Linthicum. He married Betty Akins on Sept. 1, 1976 in Cleburne.
Mr. Linthicum served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era and worked as a forklift operator. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Rio Vista.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Betty Linthicum of Cleburne; daughters, Mellissa Montgomery, Angie Maples, Dana Linthicum and Hedi Linthicum; sons, Bubba Flippin and Michael Flippin; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one brother, Truman Linthicum; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
