Graveside service for Bill Morrison, Jr., 74, of Rio Vista will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Monday, Nov. 16, 2015 in Nubbin Ridge Cemetery in Hood County. Pastor Jim Gables will officiate. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Saturday, at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home.
Bill Morrison, Jr. passed away Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2015 in Ft. Worth. He was born Aug. 15, 1941 in Cleburne to William Arvil and Thelma Narcissus McPherson Morrison. He married Barbara Bryant on Dec. 4, 1964 in Acton.
Mr. Morrison served in the United States Marines and worked as a machine chief, retiring from Johns Manville with 46 years of service. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his wife of more than 50 years, Barbara Morrison of Rio Vista; children, Bonita Brooks and husband James of Cleburne, Russell Morrison and wife Tina of Sand Flat, Yolanda Murray and husband Donnie of Joshua, Kyletha Sanchez of Rio Vista, Loretha Cobb and husband Damon of Sand Flat, William Morrison of Pecan Plantation, Stephanie Hardamon and husband Jerry of Venus, Vanessa Capps and husband Brad of Burleson, and Brooklynn Green and husband Ryan of Crowley; 21 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren; brother, Charles Morrison; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Lorra Manley; sister, Mary Teague; and brother, Mike Morrison.
