Service for Bill Murdick, 81, of Joshua will be conducted at 2:30 P.M., Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2016 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Brother Wilbur Stanley will officiate. Burial will be in Caddo Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Tuesday, at the funeral home.
Bill Murdick passed away Sunday, Oct. 16, 2016 in Ft. Worth. He was born June 16, 1935 in Matador to James William and Luella Davidson Murdick.
Mr. Murdick worked as a brick mason before retiring. He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and a friend to many. Bill was of the Assembly of God faith.
Survivors include his daughter, Wanda Slawson and husband James of Crowley; sons, DeWayne Murdick and wife Lisa and Troy Murdick, all of Joshua; 17 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; brother, Ken Murdick and wife Pat of Amarillo; and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Eunice Murdick; second wife, Hazel Murdick; sons, Billy Murdick, Jr. and Michael Murdick; granddaughter, Tiffany; and a brother, Melvin.
