Graveside service for Bill O’Dowd, 71, of Austin, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Saturday November 04, 2017 in the Godley Cemetery. The Reverend Kenneth Coleman will officiate.
Bill O’Dowd passed away Tuesday October 31, 2017 in Austin. He was born November 23, 1945 in Fort Worth to William C. Sr. and Mary Elizabeth (Sanders) O’Dowd. He married Toni Dianne Martin on July 17, 1970 in Fort Worth.
Mr. O’Dowd was a self-employed dairyman and a member of Godley United Methodist Church.
Bill is survived by his wife of 47 years Toni O’Dowd of Austin; son Joey O’Dowd and wife Julie of Longview; daughter Melissa Johnson and husband Stephen of Dallas; two grandchildren Olivia Kiser and Parker O’Dowd both of Longview; sister Marilyn Barnes of Ruidoso, New Mexico; niece Tiffany Short of Lubbock; nephew Brandon Barnes of Seaside, Oregon and several other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
