Billie Byrd Allen

Service for Billie Byrd Allen, 94, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, September 20, 2018 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Melissa Turkett will officiate. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Brad Allen, Bill Allen, Brett Edmiston, Gary Carlock, Grant Allen and Chase Allen.

Billie Allen passed away September 15, 2018 in Cleburne. She was born April 3, 1924 in Cleburne to Elisha Anderson and Melissa Pearl Stanford Byrd. She married Thomas Fred Allen on November 28, 1943 in Cleburne. Mr. Allen preceded her in death. Mrs. Allen was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church of Cleburne.

Survivors include sons; Fred Allen and wife Lynda of Cleburne, Tommy Allen and wife Sharon of Cleburne, grandchildren; Brad Allen and wife Kim, Bill Allen and wife Andrea, Julie Edmiston and husband Brett, Amy Carlock, Ryan Roberts and Shelley Roberts, nine great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and many additional loving relatives. She was also preceded in death by her parents, daughter Nancy Allen Roberts, grandsons Patrick Charles Allen and J.J. Roberts, 2 brothers and 4 sisters.
