Services for Billie Lee Hassell, 80, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at Cleburne Family Fellowship, 710 W. Kilpatrick, Cleburne. Pastor Phil Brown will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Donald Lathers, James Harris, Derek Harris, Garrett Johnston, Eric Harris, Cpl. Jason Bradtmueller and Dustin Harris.

Billie Lee Hassell passed away Saturday, May 30, 2009 in Cleburne. He was born September 23, 1928 in Floydada, TX to Marion and Goldia Belle Thomas Hassell. He married Peggy Ruth Luther on September 26, 1955 in Ft. Worth.

Mr. Hassell served in the Army and Air Force. He was an electrician for Santa Fe Railroad. He was a member of Cleburne Family Fellowship Church.

Billie Lee Hassell is survived by his wife, Peggy Hassell of Cleburne; son, Larry Joe Harris and wife, Phillis of Cleburne; grandchildren, Peggy Lathers and husband, Donald, James Harris and wife, Janey, Eric Harris and Bobbie Stone and husband, Chris; great-grandchildren, Amanda Bradtmueller and husband, Cpl. Jason, Whitney Lathers, Derek, Dessira, Dustin and Brittany Harris, Garrett Johnston, Laylabell, Kaylee, Chole and Tristin Harris, Emma and Aron Stone; great-great-grandchildren, Riley Bradtmuller and Kayden Campbell; nephew, Alan Tricon and wife, Asuncion; niece, Yvette Klevan and husband, Lewis; three great-nephews, Austin and Dillon Klevan and Santiago Tricon; cousin, Charlene Yoes and husband, David; sister-in-law, Gerry Little; numerous cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by one brother and sister.
