Graveside service for Billie "Bill" George Lyles, 74, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Friday, April 29, 2011 in the Rio Vista Cemetery. The Reverend Eddie Freeman will officiate. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.

Mr. Lyles passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2011 in Cleburne. He was born November 4, 1936 in Alvarado to George Lee and Mattie Lou Brewer Lyles. He married Mary Sue Rice on June 15, 1963 in Cleburne.

Bill was a heavy equipment operator for the City of Cleburne. He was an avid fisherman who loved to buy and trade vehicles. He was a member of Henderson Street Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Mary Sue Lyles; daughter, Audrey Harris; son, James Lyles and wife Amanda, all of Cleburne; grandchildren, Kinsey Gilbreath and husband Joey, Tyler Lyles, Shaunie Ganas and husband Leslie, Hollie Harris and Jonah Harris; great grandchildren, Natalie Gilbreath, Mikyle Ganas, Yuri Ganas and Rylan Ganas; brothers, Dan Lyles and wife Jean of Joshua, Bobby Lyles and wife Bobbie of Cleburne, Jim Lyles and wife Donna of Oklahoma, Ricky Lyles and wife Renee of Arkansas; sisters, Linda Bullard and husband Ira and Shirley Johnson and husband Billy, all of Cleburne and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Marion Lyles and Jessie Lee Lyles.
