Graveside service for Billie Zane Vassar, 86, of Grandview will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, May 31, 2018 in the Rio Vista Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Wednesday, at the funeral home.
Billie Zane Vassar passed away Monday, May 28, 2018 in Grandview. She was born November 15, 1931 in Alvarado to Dan and Juanita Jones Watson. She married C.W. Vassar and he preceded her in death.
Mrs. Vassar was a manager for John’s Grocery Store before retiring.
Survivors include her son, Chris Anthony Vassar of Cleburne; daughters, Joy Ratliff and husband Kenneth “Bundy” of Blum, Cinda Lou Jones and husband Larry of Cleburne, Julia Dianne Fritz and husband James of Granbury, and Sheila Kathleen Smith and husband Kenneth of Cleburne; 11 grandchildren; and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
