Billy Butler

Services for Billy Loyd Butler, 80, of Ft. Worth, will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 31, 2009 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Chapel. Pastor Tommy Walls will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 p.m.

Billy L. Butler passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2009 in Ft. Worth. He was born February 8, 1928 in Waxahachie to Robert Lee and Dessie Sims Butler. He married Stella Joyce Ivy on August 22, 1952 in Rio Vista.

Mr. Butler was a baker for Mrs. Baird's Bakery.

Billy Butler is survived by wife, Stella J. Butler of Ft. Worth; son, David R. Butler and wife, Cindy of Ft. Worth; grandchildren, Aaron Butler and Amanda Butler; great-granddaughters, Lindsey Ann Cragan and Natalie Erin Cragan; five brothers, Robert, Charles, Carl, Raymond and Johnny; two sisters, Mattie Hanson and Nicie Fry and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister and a number of brothers and half brothers.
