Billy Curlee

Service for Billy Curlee, 80, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, March 5, 2016 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brendan Jackson, Stephen Love, Robert Curlee, Tim Bruce, Dusty Waits, and Ricky Waits. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 P.M., Saturday, prior to the service.

Billy Curlee passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2016 in Cleburne. He was born Sept. 9, 1935 in Johnson County to Robert Lee, Jr. and O.T. Cleo Stacy Curlee. He married Joyce Turner in April of 1963 in Cleburne.

Mr. Curlee served in the United States Marines and was a longtime barber in Cleburne. He was also a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and a friend to many.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 52 years, Joyce Curlee of Cleburne; daughter, Brenda Jackson and husband Stephen and Lori Curlee, all of Cleburne; grandchildren, Megan Sisk, Brendan Jackson, and Chelsea Curlee; brother, Robert Curlee of Blanton; sister, Barbara Curlee of Joshua; and numerous nieces and nephews.
