Billy Dean

Graveside service for Billy Dean, 85, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, July 18, 2023, in Cleburne Memorial Cemetery. Senior Pastor Weldon Coble will officiate. There will be an open visitation from 9:00 – 7:00 P.M., Monday, July 17, 2023, at the funeral home.

Billy passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2023, in Cleburne. He was born February 16, 1938, in Leona, Texas to William Delmar and Bertie Helen (May) Dean. Billy married Evelyn Louise Green on July 3, 1958, in Cleburne. He was a loving husband of 65 years. Billy was of the Baptist faith. He worked as a welder for General Motors Company. Billy loved to watch Gunsmoke and old westerns. He enjoyed being retired and loved listening to old country music. Billy will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Louise Dean; sons, James Edward Dean and wife, Jana, and Jerry Don Dean and wife, Karen; grandchildren, Chad Edward Dean and wife, Beverly, Clint Dean and wife, Dionne, Jaymi Mears and husband, Zack, Shawn Hollis and wife, Melissa, and Tamara Hollis; great-grandchildren, Dylan Dean, Joda Dean, Lucas Dean, Laine Hollis, Tyler Hollis, Payton Dean, and Bree Dean; great-great-grandchild, Brecklyn Dean.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Maurine Prescher, Ruby Prescher; and brother, Jack Dean.
