Services for Billy Wayne Edwards, 57, of Blum, will be conducted at 10:30 AM Monday, June 14, 2010 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel.. Mr. Bud Lewis will officiate. Burial will be in the Derden Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David McNatt, Chuck Davis, Calvin Bentley, Jerry Alfaro, Steve Brown, Bill Berry and Doug Anderson. Honorary pallbearers will be his former co-workers at Chapperal Steel and Miller Brewery. Visitation will be Sunday from 3-6 PM

Billy Wayne Edwards passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2010 in Fort Worth. He was born April 23, 1953 in Cleburne to Billy Frank and Thelma Dean (Hart) Edwards. He married Terrie Ward on August 3, 2001 in Itasca.

Mr. Edwards was a millwright for Miller Brewery. He formerly worked for Chapperal Steel for 17 years and Santa Fe Railroad for 17 years. He was of the Baptist faith.

Billy Edwards is survived by his wife, Terrie Edwards of Blum; mother, Dean Edwards of Cleburne; daughter, Amy(David) Draeger of Georgetown; brothers, Sonny (Paula) Edwards of Blum and Robert Edwards of Cleburne; sisters, Jamie (Billy) Garner of Rio Vista and Lisa (Steve) Moore of Cleburne; grandson, Dylan Draeger; in-laws, Don & Lynda Ward and Tim and Shanda Ward all of Covington; a number of nieces, aunts, uncles and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Frank Edwards and sister, Vickie Edwards.
