Billy Hickey

Service for Billy Charles Hickey, 83, of Godley will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, August 5, 2023 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Mr. Daren Schroder will officiate. Burial will follow in Godley Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday August 5, 2023 prior to the service. Pallbearers will be Blake Hickey, Braxton Neill, Trevor Hodges, Matt McKittrick, Jimmy Singleton, Buster Frierson, Randall Sears and Chad Sears.

Mr. Hickey passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2023 in Fort Worth. He was born August 4, 1939 in Fort Worth. He married Saundra Jean Brashear on September 3, 1965 in Fort Worth. Mr. Hickey was a rancher and cabinet builder and a member of Godley Church of Christ.

Mr. Hickey is survived by his wife of 58 years, Sandra Hickey of Godley; children, Sonja Cash of Fort Worth, Yvonne Scott of Fort Worth, Candace Rife and husband, David of Fort Worth. Debbie Neill and husband, Brett of Godley and Brent Hickey and wife, Tammy of Godley; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Hickey is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie B. Hickey and Mildred Naomi (Dennis) Hickey and sisters Denna Sears and Donna Fowler
