Billy Johnson

Services for Billy Earl "Squeaky" Johnson, 73, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, July 15, 2010 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Eddie Freeman will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Billy Johnson, Jr., Brian Meek, Ben Meek, Ronnie Johnson, Roger Johnson and Roy Johnson. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Wednesday.
Mr. Johnson passed away Monday, July 12, 2010 in Keene. He was born October 28, 1936 to C.J, Sr. and Gladys Lucille Preston Johnson.
Billy served in the U.S. Marine Corp. He worked as an electrician for Lam Music Co. for 30 years and then for Comanche Peak for almost 15 years before retiring. He was a longtime member of East Henderson Baptist Church.
He is survived by his sons, Billy Johnson and wife Shirley, of Cleburne and Lorne Johnson and wife Joyce of Dallas; daughter, Loretta Johnson and husband Gene of Cleburne; ex-wife, Lucy Johnson of Cleburne; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; sisters, Sue Riza and husband Jack, Ruby Ricketts and Brenda Baker and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
