Billy Montgomery

Graveside service for Billy Gene Montgomery 85, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, April 16, 2019 in Cleburne Memorial Cemetery.

Billy Gene Montgomery passed away Thursday, April 11, 2019 in Cleburne. He was born October 10, 1933 in Chilton to Wilburn Lee and Hazel (Bryant) Montgomery. Billy married Edith Aileen Phillips on December 8, 1954 in Cleburne. She preceded him in death on April 28, 2018. He worked for Bell Helicopter for 33 years.

Billy is survived by son, Max Montgomery and wife D’Juana of Cleburne; daughters, Jeanie Standfield and husband Mark of Cleburne and Ann Montgomery of Waxahachie; grandchildren, Sarah Gossett, Elizabeth Davis, Daniel Montgomery, Cassandra Wallis, Shenayah Stanfield and Noah Stanfield, 9 great grandchildren and brother, Morris Montgomery and wife Sharon of Cleburne and numerous additional loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years Edith Aileen Montgomery
