Billy Moore

Services for Billy D. Moore, 69, of Alvarado, will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 1, 2008, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Brother Carroll Teeter will officiate. Burial will be in Venus Cemetery.

Billy D. Moore passed away Sunday, September 28, 2008 in Ft. Worth. He was born June 28, 1939 in Checotah, Oklahoma to Levi Solomon and Vera Dornan Moore. He married Geneva McBee on May 26, 1956 in Stigler, OK.

Mr. Moore was a cabinet maker for Texwood Industries. He was a member of Open Heart Ministries. He was dedicated to his love for his family and friends. He loved gospel music. He enjoyed playing his guitar. He and his wife dedicated their extra time singing and playing gospel music for local nursing homes and churches.
Billy D. Moore is survived by his wife, Geneva Moore of Alvarado; daughters, Pamela Ochoa of Venus, Carol "Machele" Morris of Venus, and Angela Schultz and husband, Dennis of Alvarado; sons, Gary Moore and wife, Rosa of Venus and David Moore and wife, Wanda of Venus; mother, Vera Moore of Muskogee, OK; brother, Glen Dale Moore of Muskogee, OK and sister, Maxine Casey of Muskogee, OK. He was preceded in death by his father, Levi "Lee" Moore and sister, Wynona Moore.
Billy touched and was loved by everyone that knew him.
