Billy Price

William H. Price (Billy/Willy), 52, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2013 at his home.
Survivors: mother, Margaret Mae and stepfather, Bruce Mabbit of Cleburne, Texas; son, William Rashad Price and wife April of Lafayette; daughter, Desiree Harper and husband David of San Antonio, Texas; siblings, Brian Price and wife Lisa and Terry Price and wife Debra, all of Lafayette; Edward Debora of Michigan, and Adrienne Price and husband Cedar of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Yolanda, Jasmine, Assia, Zaynah, Dakarai and Alleyson; great grandchildren, Kaylon, Emmanuel and Cassius; many cousins, nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Billy attended Jefferson High School and was a member of Second Baptist Church. He married Vivian Sue Price and they were together 36 years. He worked for the city of Lafayette for 14 years and played semi-pro football for the Generals. He enjoyed coaching children’s baseball and football, hunting, being on the river, and spending time with loving family and friends.

Memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, August 23, 2013 at Simplicity Funeral Care with visitation at 1:00 P.M., prior to service.
