Billy Reese

Service for Billy Ray Reese, 84, of Alvarado will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Friday, December 28, 2018, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Reverend Kevin Jones will officiate. Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery in Alvarado. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M., Thursday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Scott Hardin, Ricky Sullivan, Daniel Reese, John Mobley, Chris Russ and Patrick Pacheco. Honorary pallbearer will be Johnny Skiles.

Billy passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018, in Cleburne. He was born September 02, 1934 in Mount Pleasant, to Jewel Lee and Dorothy Rena (Dickie) Reese. Billy married Fredda Jo Crain on August 10, 1967 in Weatherford. She preceded him in death on November 6, 2017.
Billy was an iron worker in the steel construction industry for over 49 years and a member of the Masonic Lodge for over 50 years.

Billy is survived by his daughters, Delores Reese Hill and husband Randy of Georgetown, Billie Ranae Lough of Cleburne, Dana Skiles and husband Johnny of Cleburne and Shelia Gavenda of Cleburne; sister, Patsy Allen of Springtown; brother, Travis Reese and wife Wanda of Itasca, 6 step-children; grandchildren, Daniel Reese and wife Lori, Chris Russ, Ashley Mobley and husband John, Macey Pacheco and husband Patrick, Angie Massey and husband Eric, Scott Hardin and wife Barbara and numerous great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, J.D. Brock.
